Masquerade: A Cognitive Robotics Game and its First Player
نویسنده
چکیده
This paper documents the author’s work in a cognitive robotics seminar. The results include both the formulation of a competitive cognitive robotics game and the construction of an autonomous robot. The game is designed to encourage the development of cognitive robots research and technology through direct competition between teams. Designed to be the first robot capable of competing in a simplified version of the game, the autonomous robot constructed for the seminar requires additional work in order to play.

Investigating the Effect of Rewards on Individual Players' Efforts: A Behavioral Approach
The main goal of the study is to examine the effect of rewards on the behavior of players in a team activity. In this framework, by performing 12 sequential and simultaneous games in a laboratory environment examine the rewarding effect on players' behavior. Students from Yazd universities surveyed and the sample of 182 students is in the form of two groups, which collected in total for 2184 ma...
متن کاملTwo Case Studies for Jazzyk BSM
Recently, we introduced Behavioural State Machines (BSM ), a novel programming framework for development of cognitive agents with Jazzyk, its associated programming language and interpreter. The Jazzyk BSM framework draws a strict distinction between knowledge representation and behavioural aspects of an agent program. Jazzyk BSM thus enables synergistic exploitation of heterogeneous knowledge ...
متن کاملThe competitive advantages analysis of pharmaceutical industry strategic behaviors by game theory
Game theory is the study of mathematical models and cooperation between intelligent rational decision-makers. This paper provides a flexible model to calculate pay-off matrix based on several importance factors. This model is adapted by cooperative game and developed for some competitive advantages sections in pharmaceutical industry. An optimum solution is derived by considering Nash equilibri...
متن کاملMAXIMAL ALLOCATED BENEFIT AND MINIMAL ALLOCATED COST AND ITS APPLICATION
In this paper, we investigate the problems of consensus-making among institution in stock exchange with multiple criteria for evaluating performance when the players (institutions) are supposed to be egoistic and the score for each criterion for a player is supposed to be a positive score. Each player sticks to his superiority regarding the criteria. This paper introduces the models for computi...
متن کاملA Game-Theoretic Analysis of the Off-Switch Game
The off-switch game is a game theoretic model of a highly intelligent robot interacting with a human. In the original paper by Hadfield-Menell et al. (2016b), the analysis is not fully game-theoretic as the human is modelled as an irrational player, and the robot’s best action is only calculated under unrealistic normality and soft-max assumptions. In this paper, we make the analysis fully game...
